بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful“.
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
“Rabbish rahli sadri, wa yassirli amri, wah lul uqdatan min lisaani, yaf kahu kauli”
“My Lord, put my heart at peace for me and make my task easy for me and remove the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech. [20:25,26,27,28]
May peace and blessings be upon you.
This blog is for you.
Regardless of your faith, or where you are in life right this minute. I write this in relation to my spiritual practice as a Muslim, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something here for everyone. We all tread different paths, all of them part of a bigger and wider trail leading us in the same direction. I hope to walk this journey with you, filling each other with something that connects us to our creator Allah SWT and his guidance to us.
The intention is to share my own thoughts and experiences within the context of Islam. As someone immersed in the everyday distractions of modern city living (tech, social media, make up, eating out etc) the introvert in me finds solace in reflection, and is constantly seeking meaning and value in the life we are leading.
